Where do I begin…
Wednesday Jaxon got hurt while at Mrs. Ruthann’s house. He was riding down the big slide with her teenage son & the rubber on his sandal got stuck on the slide & bent his foot/ankle backward while they continued sliding. My poor baby is ok now, but still swollen & red. Joey took him to the dr. and they took some x-ray’s. She was afraid of a hairline fracture. He screams when he puts pressure on it. It’s sad, but the good news is that last night he was starting to put some pressure on it…so I think all is well!!
Joey went to the Dr. yesterday for his back. No real news. They are ordering a MRI, so we’ll go from there. He did get some meds that should help in the meantime.
I’m leaving on Sunday for Dallas for 5 days. I’m going for training for JPMorgan Chase. Joey is going to be taking care of Jaxon. Jax will go to his scheduled child care during the days & be with his wonderful daddy during the evening. I know they will be just fine…but PLEASE keep them in your prayers. If Joey’s back wasn’t hurt, I wouldn’t worry at all, BUT…I’m a worrier!
I have spent the night away from Jaxon once, but Joey and I were together. This will be very different and a little hard for me to be away from both my boys. On the other hand, I will be in classes during the day so that won’t be SO FUN, but I am looking forward to a little break in the evenings!
I got my hair done Wednesday…Here’s the pic…NOt a great self–portrait.

Oh no!! I hate to hear that Jax got hurt. GLAD however to hear that he is starting to put wait it! Poor guy.Love your new haircut! 🙂 Classy!!I will be thinking about you next week. It is difficult being away from the family like that. But hopefully you will be able to stay busy and the time will fly by!

Wow, I love the hair!! Poor little guy. I know that’s so hard when you’re little ones are sick. Hopefully all up hill from here. I’ll be praying for you and your boys while you have to be away from them. Try to enjoy it the best you can! : )
Hey! LOVE the new hair-do and color! I just got mine done last week and love it! Sometimes us moms need a little updating to boost our self esteem! 🙂 Good luck on your trip away from the boys. I still have yet to leave my children behind overnight…well I did once when Rielyn was 18 months old for one night and I did not do well! The idea of being away from them sounds wonderful, but the reality of it makes me sad!
I know how it is to see your kids hurt like that and worry about them. My little girl broke her femur when she was 7 months old. It was way too close to the growth plate and I was scared that would effect her walking and growing. But kids bounce back and are always surprising adults!
