Thank you Mr. King for being famous and allowing us to have the day off! Because of the weather Joey ended up being home yesterday too! And today. And tomorrow! Lucky (in the voice of Napoleon)!
So yesterday Joey and I totally took advantage of the childcare that we had to pay for if we used it or not! WE had our first (since Jax has been born) Day Date! A day date is a great and inexpensive way to spend time together! Here is a picture of my date:
Such a cutie! We went to Target, Best Buy, Barnes and Noble (my fav), and then Steak & Ale for lunch (so much cheaper than dinner)! After about 3 hours we were feeling guilty and missed Jax so we picked him up just in time for a nap at home.
While he was napping, I finished a VERY over-due project! It was so bad it had to be done in two phases…WAY too much for one day! I really can’t believe I’m going to post pictures of my most troubled area in the house…but here goes!

Oh my goodness Suzanne! It is AMAZING how nice & clean your closet looks after you worked SO hard! The floor is BEAUTIFUL and all of your organizer boxes & shelves are INCREDIBLE! You are SUPER WOMAN! Can you come clean my house? I really can learn from you…what an accomplishment! You should print those pictures of your clean closet and hang them in there so IF things start to go downhill you can remember this GREAT day and your HUGE accomplishment!! Way to go! WOW! Your closet is an amazing transformation!!! You own a ton of jeans! Don’t worry…there’s only a few pair I can wear right now too. I’m not sure I’ll ever fit into some of them again b/c of my hips getting wider! lolAs for Rachel Ray…I call her Mike’s girlfriend! lol. He loves to cook and since we don’t have cable that’s the only cooking show he sees. He actually ordered “me” (yeah right) the magazine for Christmas! I love it! 🙂

You’re the inspiration….I am singing that, just so you know. That is an AMAZING transformation and accomplishment! I feel like that is the state of my entire bedroom. I get so overwhelmed that I just haven’t done anything. But because of you I am actually going to start organizing the bedroom…and Logan’s drawers…they are like that too. You are amazing!I have almost picked that magazine up like 5 times, but I always refrain. But I think the next time I will get it! It looks great!

I sooo need to clean out my closet! Yours turned out great. I think my floor looks just like yours did too. 😉 Oh goodie the new RR mag is in stores. I checked last week when I went shopping and it wasn’t out. Now I know 😉

THe closet looks great. You know, I’ve found the best way to clean out your stuff is to move!!! It worked for me anyway. What I really want to know is, What the heck is Joey leaning his head on in the Veggi Tales pictures?!? That looks TOTALLY uncomfortable!!!
