Tomorrow morning Joey & I leave for Vegas. We have never been there, we’ve never been anywhere really, except Dallas! Even our honeymoon was about 45 minutes from where I grew up! So….this is much needed and anticipated!
Joey will have the big 3-0 on Saturday & my birthday is Monday!!! We chose Vegas because of the “Phantom of the Opera spectacular” that is playing there! Joey saw Phantom in London & then we saw it when they came to OKC a few years ago! It should be fun!
I am trying to pray a lot and not worry about leaving my Jax. I am having a hard time with it. I know he will be fine & won’t remember us being gone, but I will! I know we will have a blast, but I WILL miss my baby!

That sentence sounds weird…like I’m saying your right eye and your left eye look great. But of course I mean your eyes and Jax’s eyes. 🙂 Anyway, have fun! And I think it’s totally ok to cry your first night without Jax. 🙂

First of all, Jax always looks so loving in pictures! He’s always loving on you guys. Secondly, Vegas is one of my favorite vacation spots. I haven’t been there in about seven years, but it was so much fun! I don’t blame you for worrying about leaving Jax. I couldn’t leave Lila yet. Maybe by the time she’s Jax’s age (but I doubt it…I’m a wuss).

You guys are going to have so much fun! It’s okay to feel sad about leaving Jax, but it’s going to be good for you to have time alone with your sweet husband. David and I left Wade when he was 18 months old to go on a short vacation. It was so refreshing and we had a blast! I didn’t feel guilty once we got there and starting doing stuff, but when we packed up to leave and got in the car I told him that he couldn’t get me home fast enough!!!JB
