This weekend we went on a retreat with the SNU Women’s BB team. Joey is now an assistant to their program (and still principal at the HS). Every year they go on a pre-season retreat. It was a great weekend! It was nice to be away for a day and to enjoy God’s beauty. The lake was beautiful & the weather was amazing! Saturday morning I took a walk around the resort(all by myself, I might add) and I stopped for some quiet time. It was SO peaceful. I wish I had beautiful places like that closer to home!

We went to lake Tenkiller & stayed at Fin & Feather Resort.
Every fall the resort hosts a Fall Festival. It was like a mini state fair – except better! They had all kinds of craft booths, and wonderful food! We ate at the “fair” for lunch on Saturday. The best part was that we were staying there, so we had the advantage of taking the great food back to the quiet cabin away from the crowd. We sampled….A Chicken Gyro, Fried Pickles, Roasted Corn (MY FAV), Red Beans & Rice, Kettle Corn (another fav)….it was a fun bonus for the weekend! I was also able to shop a little. I got some cool pumpkins for my table & a Christmas Decoration.
Jaxon proved this weekend, in case there was any doubt, that he is ALL BOY!!! He loves the outdoors & had so much fun getting dirty!
Batman was among us!!! Joey bought Jax some new pajamas. He got Batman & Spiderman. He was totally acting the part…it helped that he had 13 girls to perform for!
Saturday I did something very out of character for me! I jumped off a 32 foot cliff!!!! It was awesome! The only bad thing is that I figured out the hard way that I am not 20 anymore!!! My body was sore today, but it was worth it!
It was a great weekend…and I’m off to bed!

Looks like you had a good time. Jax is so cute in his little Batman costume. I love your new layout but the print is kinda hard to read. I hope that it is the color and not the fact that I am getting older and losing my vision!!!
