from the mouth of my boy

These are just a few conversations I’ve had with Jaxon in the last few days that I want to remember::

Just a few moments ago….

Me:Jaxon, I love you
Jax:I lobe you too
Jax:you sweet

Talk about melting my heart!!!!!

Me:Are you picking your nose?
Jax:Yeah, I’m picking boogers
Me:Ewww….that’s gross, stop please
Jax: picking boogers, picking boogers, picking boogers(in a singing voice)

last night we were walking into the house and my hands and arms were FULL….

Jax:Mommmy, I want you to hold me
Me:Jax, mommy’s hands are full and the door is right there, I’ll hold you inside
Jax:Mommy Please…
Me:(shifting everything into one arm and bending down to get him)Come here
Jax:thanks mom, I told you, you have another arm
I don’t know where he gets his determination from!

In the car last week….

Jax:Mommy, you’re not a boy
Me:no buddy I’m not, You and daddy are the only boys in our house
Jax:You’re the princess and Daddy is not a boy he’s a daddy man
Me:(heart melting)You’re right I am the princess!

There are more but that’s what’s coming to mind right now!!

Happy Friday!!!

  5. My daughter comes up to me and says “Next what mom” instead of guess what. My son said to my daughter “If you rub it, it gets bigger.” I thought that was nice. They are no longer taking baths together. I painted my daughter’s toes today. She looked at the color and said “That’s Isgusting!” I babysit a little girl during the week. My son went up to her and said “You’re pretty. I like you.” I had a painting on the wall of Venus coming out of a sea shell. I would put my kids down for bed. At night they would ask me what the noise was. I would point in the direction of the picture and say “That’s the neighbors.” We recently moved and the painting was sitting up against the wall. My son points to it and says “Oh,look momma, you brought the neighbors.” I almost peed my pants! It explains why they wouldn’t go to bed at night!I *love* the things my children come up with. They are so creative. I have a parenting blog I’m starting and would love any other wise words if you want to help. I plan on doing a post every week on the things kids say. Just email me and let me know. (I found you through bathtubjunkie.net)
