This evening as I was making dinner I was browsing blogs. I came across my friend Misty‘s blog and saw THIS!!! THANK YOU MISTY!! Joey wasn’t home tonight so I got Jax and I decent enough to go out in public, and we headed to::
Here’s what I got for $7.47 including tax::
Obviously the abominable snowman was not a necessity – but it was marked down from $3.99 to $.99 and the kid loves anything that has to do with Rudolph!
The deodorant isn’t a brand that Joey normally uses but it was on sale 2/$3.99 – not sure it’s the best deal out there this week…but he’s out!
The hair products were on sale for $2.99 – after a wg coupon they were $.99 – in the paper this week there were two $1.00 off coupons for 1 product…that made them FREE Luckily my sweet neighbor brings me all her coupons each week!! So I paid $.99 plus tax for 5 haircare products!! NOT bad at all!!
I LOVE bargains!
I am so envious!! THAT, my friend, was a fabulous bargain!!
There are so many of you savy Walgreens shoppers out there. I have not figured out how all of that works yet.Must dig deeper…
I wish I could hire you as my personal shopper!
I LOVE free stuff too. I love the new site. It looks GREAT!
I tried so hard to clip coupons, but the newspaper ended up costing us more than we saved because we weren’t able to keep up with it. I can’t believe you got all of those hair items for a dollar!
That is soooo fun!!!JB
I LOVE your new blog…and I LOVE the great picture of your family in the header!! I, too am a money-saving junkie. Some may call me CHEAP and I take that as a compliment! I went to CVS yesterday and my total came to $22 but with my coupons I only spent $9. I get such a rush from saving money! Happy New Year!
Ah yeah. I didn’t get anything this year. And yes it is as depressing as it sounds. And no I am not one of those people who is ‘totally’ okay with it. Nope. I am and was bummed. But look at you! I love all your gifts! You are well loved!
