first snow 2010

Today we were iced in.  We didn’t leave the house at all.  Couldn’t get out if we wanted too!  I ended up working for most of the day from the kitchen table.  It was nice to be under the same roof with my boys all day.

Jax had been looking out all day and couldn’t wait to get out there!

Total time spent getting dressed/ready to play in the snow – 15 minutes

Total time spent outside in the snow – 4.2 minutes

It was FREEZING (obviously – ha!).  We had a blast though!

Touching the first snow of 2010 – priceless

tasting the first snow – even better

then he was off to run like a crazy kid does in the snow – he was ONE happy boy!

we took a second to capture a Jax and mommy photo

then he and daddy tried to do a little sledding

It was a super quick adventure, but memories were definitely made and that is all that matters!

Happy Saturday – May you and yours stay warm and safe

  1. The new design is so cute. And I love that photo of Jax tasting the snow. We haven’t taken Minerva out to play in the snow yet, but I’m curious to see how she reacts to it.

  2. How cute are those pictures? 🙂 I loved taking Gibson out yesterday… its such a different experience watching your child see snow for the first time. Completely priceless!!
Love the new design by the way!

  5. Suzanne,
What a cute blog design, post, and your pictures…well, amazing!! I’m so glad you left a comment, I lost all my blog links and have been working on building my list back up with all my blogging friends 🙂 Glad to “see” you again!

  6. How fun! And got a good chuckle out of the 15 min. spent dressing vs. actual time in the snow. It’s always lots of fun getting them dressed with snowpants, boots, etc.
